Windsurfing is one of the most exhilarating sports around. Modern boards and sails have revolutionised learning to windsurf. At WWAC our boards are geared to the beginner end of the spectrum to get you windsurfing as fast as possible. Our shallow lake makes for the ideal setting for students to build their confidence on the water.
Our taster sessions focus on having fun with the boards on the water and gaining your confidence. This is followed by step by step tuition on our purpose-built land-based simulator, progressing on to practising afloat.
For those that would like to develop their skills further, we also offer the opportunity for learners to spend two to three days on a course to attain RYA Windsurfing certificates. Once you have attained your RYA Start Windsurfing certificate we offer the opportunity to hire out our boards to practice your skills and get time on the water.

RYA Start Windsurfing Course
On the RYA Start Windsurfing 2 day (16 hours) course we aim to get you windsurfing where ever you want to go. Whether it's windsurfing to the other side of the lake or going out for a play. By the end of the course our aim is for you to be able to windsurf on your own around a triangular course. Youth - £150 Adult - £180
